Bianca Large Table Lamp by Matti Klenell

The white glass diffuser of this splendid table lamp by Matti Klenell is mouth blown by master glassmakers to reach the shape of a globe with a satin, silk-like finish obtained with an acid treatment. The surface is enlivened by a series of delicate wavy grooves, reminiscent of prints on fresh snow. Its imposing size makes it a sublime example of traditional craftsmanship, requiring special talent and knowledge of traditional Venetian techniques. A white metal base and a transparent wire complete this design. The warm light shining from within comes from an E27 bulb. This item is only wired for 220V and it is sold with an adapter.
